Behind the Wohnzelle is Oliver Kalz, an entrepreneur from Luckau in Brandenburg. After visiting the manufacturer's factory in China, he brought the first Wohnzelle to Germany — with a clear goal: to offer a concrete answer to the growing need for small, affordable homes.
The Wohnzelle is not a prototype but a series-produced manufacturer model: fully furnished and equipped with modern home technology.
Oliver Kalz has been planning and selling battery storage, charging infrastructure and energy management systems for commercial and industrial clients for years. That experience goes into every Wohnzelle — the solar PV system, the 20 kWh battery storage and the energy management system are standard on the MK I.

Our idea
Modern, mobile tiny houses, delivered fully furnished and technically prepared for utility connections. We are bringing a new way of living to Germany: the Wohnzelle.
Why we do this
Affordable, modern housing is in short supply. Our Wohnzellen offer an answer — for singles, seniors, couples and people with a flexible lifestyle. Compact, mobile and cleverly planned.
Our goal
Our long-term goal: Germany's first Wohnzelle settlement — a model project that shows how the housing of tomorrow can work. To get there, we are looking for partners, municipalities and suitable sites.
